Broadband and
Leased Lines
Lansdowne Telecom provides business broadband to deliver either data or combined voice and data services to our clients. As available, we provide:-

ADSL
Basic broadband access uses a copper phone line connected to the exchange. Check with us if you can upgrade to FTTC / FTTP. Speeds of up to 24Mbps.
FTTC
Fibre to the Cabinet increases basic broadband speeds by connecting powerful fibre optic cable to the cabinet, then copper wires to your business. Speeds of up to 80Mbps.
FTTP
The future is Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), where pure fibre optic cables connect you straight to the exchange. Speeds of up to 330Mbps

LEASED LINE
Lansdowne Telecom also offer a leased line, managed internet access, dedicated to the client. As a managed dedicated service, it is un-contended and users achieve the bandwidth they purchase, whereas ADSL/FTTC/FTTP are contended services and provide ‘up to’ speeds which are affected by congestion in the network.
Leased line is a product which allows un-contended connectivity and as such has a higher price point than that of traditional broadband. These types of services also come with full Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), in addition the bandwidth available on a leased line is a lot higher than broadband and can go up to 10GB, allowing for larger deployments to be supported on a single circuit. For these reasons leased line is often the choice for single deployments of 250 users and more, or where the client needs guaranteed bandwidth.
Our leased line products, are dedicated, un-contended, internet access lines that provide higher bandwidth speeds than traditional broadband services, with speeds ranging from 10Mb/s to 10Gb/s. As an un-contended service, the access speeds on leased lines are guaranteed so this option is advisable to end users whom are reliant on guaranteed call capacity or data bandwidth.
